Shaheen Shah Afridi was on song for Lahore Qalandars at home as he led his team to a convincing 40-run victory against Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday.
It looked a perfect batting track after Fakhar Zaman, Abdullah Shafique, and Sam Billings led Qalandars to a towering 241-run total which is the third-highest in tournament's history.
But, Shaheen made the pitch look like bowling friendly as he took five wickets to rattle the opposition.
The left-arm pacer began with breaking the bat of Mohammad Haris with a speedy delivery. On the very next ball, he clean bowled Haris to retain his first-over dominance.
Later on, he bagged Babar Azam, James Neesham, Wahab Riaz and Saad Masood to complete his second fifer in PSL.
Following a breathtaking spell from Shaheen, twitter was flooded with massive applause for him.
Qalandars beat Zalmi by 40 runs to win their third match in PSL 8 and first at their home ground.
After opting to bat first, Qalandars posted a mammoth 242-run target before restricting Zalmi to 201 runs in 20 overs, thanks to an exceptional batting display from Fakhar and Abdullah Shafique and a five-wicket haul from Shaheen.
In reply to the big total, Zalmi had a good partnership from Saim Ayub and Tom Kohler-Cadmore after losing both openers early.
Shaheen gave Qalandars the best start they could get against Zalmi. The skipper Shaheen bowled out Mohammad Haris with a sensational yorker on the second ball of his first over. Later on, bagged Babar to put the opposition on back foot.
